DMF seeks Business Development Leader to build on Giving Hearts Day success graphic

DMF has created a business development position to build on the success of Giving Hearts Day. Dakota Medical, Impact and Alex Stern Family Foundations jointly host this 24-hour online give-a-thon that has dramatically increased fundraising success of charities across North Dakota and western Minnesota. The ninth annual Giving Hearts Day, on February 11, 2016, continued a tradition as a record-breaking fundraising phenomenon by helping charities raise over $8.3 million in one day.

The purpose of this new role is to inspire even greater giving in our region by creating meaningful opportunities and experiences for the business community to support great causes. In this role, you will build relationships with business leaders and their teams. You will leverage the Giving Hearts Day platform to help support their culture, brand, and philanthropic goals. This role will be challenging and rewarding if you are a people-oriented and goal-driven person. It is akin to a consultative sales position. It requires a self-starting, can-do attitude and excellent relationship building skills.
